INVESTIGATION OF ANTIOXIDATION ACTIVITY OF 2,6-DI -tert.-BUTYL-4-METHYLPHENOL AND 2,2,6,6-TETRAMETHYL-4-PIPERIDONE

摘要

Antioxidation activity of 2,6-di-tert.-butyl-4-methylphenol (ionol), 2,2,6,6-tetra-methyl-4-piperidone (piperidone)and its mixture is determined and compared in different ratio (1:1, 1:2, 1:3)in total concentration (0.38%).Efficiency is appreciated by three different methods (IEC 61125-B, ASTM D 2112-oxidation test (RBOT)and intensified laboratory method).The results obtained from different methods show that combinations have higher antioxidation effect compare with ionol.
