摘要

Some local wine and table grape varieties grown in northern Greece and southern Bulgaria have been studied for evaluating and comparing their polyphenols content and antioxidant properties of the grape. It has been established that TP,NEP,FP and AC of the red and white varieties move in broad ranges depending on the variety type and,to a lesser extent,on the ecological conditions. The highest content of TP and AC has been found in the grape of the Agiortiko,respectively 1428 ppm GAE and 216 μM,and the lowest - in the Pamid grape variety - 644 ppm and 3 8 uM,respectively. The antiradical activity (DPPH) for the Greek grape varieties ranges from 465 to 1360 μmol DPPH and for the Bulgarian -from 506 to 1211 umol. The antioxidant activity (FRAP) for the Greek grape varieties is varying from 2060 to 5665 umol and for the Bulgarian - from 193 6 to 4926 FRAP/kg.
