P-PARAMETER AS AN OBJECTIVE CHARACTERISTICS OF ELECTRONEGATIVITY

摘要

It is shown that electronegativity of atoms and structures equals numerically the effective averaged energy of one-valence electron for valence-active orbitals of atoms.The method for estimating electronegativity of elements and metal structures with the help of the notion of spatial-energy parameter (P-parameter)is proposed.The results of numerous computations are in accordance with reference and experimental data.
