ExxonMobil supplies polyolefins for new Chevrolet Beat

ExxonMobil is supplying Exx-tral polyolefins for exterior and interior components of General Motors' (GM) new, globally available car, the Chevrolet Beat. Manufactured in GM India's Tale-gaon plant in Maharashtra, the Chevrolet Beat is the first vehicle from an emerging economy to use Exxtral polyolefins. The total amount of these polyolefins used in each vehicle is 28 kg, which represents about 25 % of the polymer weight in an average vehicle.
