MOTT MACDONALD, OMAN, has allotted US$1.2mn for an initiative to train and develop talent and integrate them into the business to achieve long-term goals and generate more employment in the Sultanate. Vinod Shah, managing director of oil and gas engineering service provider Mott MacDonald, recently spoke to Oil Review on the subject of training and talent development in Oman. "We have started the year on a very positive note and we are bullish about prospects in the coming months," claimed Shah, who is a mechanical engineer working with the company in Oman since 1991. He is currently managing a 500-member team in the Sultanate.
