摘要

This report is concerned with food safety problems during China's tenth five-year plan and the government's commitment to invest up to 150 million RMB. This report focuses on the core goal of ensuring the health of Chinese consumers and protecting the safety of the Chinese food import and export trade. It points to international science and the technology frontier of food safety, grasps the key links and bottlenecks in comprehensive control of Chinese food safety, and looks at integrating advantageous scientific resources within the country and conducting "breakthrough" studies.
