Crude and product prices fell Tuesday amid continued worries about the health of the euro zone. Traders also worried about China potentially raising interest rates in order to contain inflationary pressures. Nymex December crude futures fell $1.62 to close at $84.11 per barrel. In London on ICE Futures, December Brent ended at $85.92, down $1.42. Nymex December gasoline contacts, on their day of expiry, settled at $2.2652 per gallon, down 1.94¢. December heating oil, also on its day of expiry, dropped 4.12¢ to finish at $2.3169.
