Jordan is hoping to finalize its nuclear cooperation agreement with the US before the end of the year even though it refuses to give up its right to enrich uranium, a Jordanian official said Tuesday. Should the agreement be ratified, Jordan would likely award a contract for the construction of the country's first nuclear plant at the beginning of next year, Kamal M.
