New well completion designs coupled with improved well spacing have boosted the reserve potential in the Bakken-Three Forks area to 1 billion barrels of oil equivalent (Bboe) for EOG Resources Inc. The increase is more than double what was previously estimated for the area, where EOG also said it has tripled drillable locations from 580 to 1,540.
