A major expansion for the barnett shale

EOG Resources plans a salient expansion of the Barnett Shale play in North Texas.Several years ago,the Houston independent started a leasing program in Johnson County,south of Fort Worth and well south of the core area of Barnett Shale production.To date,it has drilled and completed 15 horizontal wells in Johnson County,and has another five horizontal wells in the completion stage.
