Pearl Energy Investments, based in Dallas, is a new energy private equity firm focused on investing in the small- to mid-cap North American upstream, midstream and services sectors. Pearl was founded in July and closed its inaugural fund— Pearl Energy Investments LP—at a hard cap of $500 million on September 30.
