As natural gas prices threatened to slip below $2/Mcf at press time in December, the lowest early winter price in many years, E&P analyst Subash Chandra of Guggenheim Securities LLC reviewed the gas-focused names he covers. Only one, Range Resources Corp., consistently ranked high on four criteria, and was thus his only Buy-rated stock at the time.
