Chinese nutrition status and development of its nutrition industry.

This article discusses the status of nutrition and health in China. Aspects considered include: current status of Chinese nutrition and health; challenges for Chinese residents; current status of the Chinese nutrition industry; positive aspects of the Chinese nutrition industry (special functional products, specialized technologies, industry and sales network, stimulation of related industries); negative aspects of the Chinese nutrition industry (lack of specialized administration, lack of separate administration, international presence, limited connection to international markets); and development plan for the Chinese nutrition industry demonstration base (nutritional products manufacturing, nutrition science and R&D, nutrition education and training, nutrition services, nutritional culture, nutrition logistics, nutrition industry administration and services).
