Munich - MTU demonstrates their innovative power solutions with the debut of their next-generation Series 4000 engine, specifically adapted for the C&I market at the 2007 BAUMA show. The Series 4000 C&I engine is available in three configurations: 12, 16 and 20 Cylinder versions with maximum horsepower ratings of 2,250, 3,000 and 3,750 bhp (1,680 kW, 2,240 kW and 2,800 kW). This new engine series offers expanded application coverage for the construction, industrial and mining industries.
