Corrosion protection with upetfectn atomic layers

摘要

One of the most promising techniques to avoid corrosion problems is of course surface treatment of the part. There are lots of surface treatment techniques, going from paints, sprays, galvanic, electroplating and PVD or other vacuum techniques. The project CORRAL has accomplished its main objective that was to develop ultra-thin protective coatings and has proved that the developed coatings have positive effects on corrosion resistance properties.
