A pilot-line for lead rafination with oxygen

摘要

The object of elaboration is the pilot-line, set inmotion in the year 1998 in HMN SZOPIENICE SA for oxidizingrafination of lead by means of refining gas of diversified oxygen-content. The elaboration contains the basic elements of the pilot-line. The diagrams present construction of the injectors for therefining gas into liquid lead and it is explained the principle oftheir operation. The procedures applied during study of thekinetics of oxidation of Sn, As and Sb, contained in liquid leadare described and the preliminary results of the experiments are shown.
