摘要

The effect of temperature-time treatment of the melts of nickel superalloys melted in vacuum induction furnaces on the chromium loss is studied. An empirical relation is found between the chromium loss, on the one hand, and the temperature and time of isothermal holding, the initial chromium content, and the specific surface of metallic bath, on the other hand. The obtained relation makes it possible to predict the chromium loss during temperature-time treatment of the melts.
