摘要

Oblique holes are formed in the elements of body parts having curvature; in addition they are typical for the airplane landing gear components, the turbine blades, and so on. The characteristic feature of the oblique hole is that in the plane of the part (plate) the circular hole takes an elliptical shape, and a sharp edge is formed at the surface. If the angle of inclination of the hole lies in the plane that is perpendicular to the direction of the action of the force that is applied to the plate, the major axis of the ellipse is also perpendicular to this direction, and the stress concentration at the edge of the hole will be greater than for the round hole.
