Tap early morning for better latex yield

Harrisons Malayalam Limited (HML), which has about 7400 ha under natural rubber in India, has found a practical way of managing the adverse impact of rise in temperature on yield. Early morning tapping tried in the company's Kumbazha estate has led to substantial increase in productivity, said Santosh Kumar, Group Man- ager, Ranni Valley Group of Estates of HML. Similar results have been obtained by RRH as well.
