Dispersant and Fine Aluminas: A New Way to Tailor Flow, Setting Time and Strength Development in Castable Mix Designs

摘要

This paper presents new results for LCC refractory-mix designs using tabular alumina, high aluminate CAC and different types of reactive aluminas. The influence of two different new dispersants on flow characteristics, setting time behaviour and strength development after 24 h is shown depending on the different reactive alumina types.
