A small blonde-haired girl runs through the green meadow, barefoot with her dress trailing in the knee-high grass. She is wielding a stick taller than herself and shooing caramel-coloured cows into a rickety wooden barn. She cannot be more than four,yet she is fearless and at the sound oi her cry the beasts scamper towards the barn, bells clanging wildly. Exhausted, she collapses by the barn door, wiping the back of a grubby paw across her ruddy cheek.
