The postholder should be a clinician, healthcare professional or other lead responsible for organising information to support better care.Medway Community Healthcare clinical quality director Fiona Stephens has just taken on the additional role of chief clinical information officer for the organisation in Kent.The role is defined as taking responsibility for ensuring clinical adoption of and staff engaging with new technologies, as a means to improving patient care and services.
