German data (2003-07) are tabulated on production areas for seed potatoes in Federal States. In 2006, seed potatoes were grown on 16 760 ha. Cultivars are tabulated according to harvesting period (very early, early, medium-early, medium to very late), and those allowed according to EU paragraph 55 SaatG.
