POE lubricants in refrigerant plants - application, possible problems, alternatives

In a research project of the Forschungsrat Kaltetechnik "polyole ester lubricants in practical application" were examined. Emphasis of the investigations were thereby the problems which can arise as a result of the influence of humidity on the POE oils. In this paper important oils of the German market were included. Additionally system tests with the part-soluble oil Reniso triton S46F developed for R 134a took place.
