Process of smelting in a fluid bath created by Prof. A. V. Vaniukov and renamed into the Vaniukov Process after the author's death is a competitive option of the existing and world-known sulphide feed autogenous smelting processes, such as Outokumpu Flash Smelting, INCO Oxygen Flash Smelting, Ausmelt and Isasmelt Processes, Noranda, Mitsubishi, Teniente processes, etc. Each of the above-mentioned processes is under continuous improvement aimed at both increasing technical-and-economical indices and perfecting the used metallurgical units' design.
