Australian Groups Find No Risk to Health from Wind Farm Noise

Wind farms do not cause adverse health effects, according to a new position paper from the Australian Medical Association (AMA). It comes on the heels of similar statements on the potential effects of wind farm noise on health by the New South Wales and Victorian health departments, South Australian Environmental Protection Agency, National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC), and Association of Australian Acoustical Consultants.
