It's no surprise that natural gas vehicles aren't catching on as quickly as electric vehicles in the passenger market—but the pool of auto makers researching and selling passenger NGVs has been expanding gradually. Ford recently announced that it will offer a natural gas-powered Ford F-150, and in an illustration that research continues, six dual-fueled gasoline and compressed natural gas (CNG) passenger cars were displayed at the Alternative Clean Transportation Expo in Washington earlier this summer.
