McClendon's AEP Acquires Large Aussie Assets

Neither the state of Oklahoma nor the whole US natural gas patch is large enough to hold independent operator Aubrey McClendon (AEP), who told employees of his Oklahoma City-based American Energy Partners last week that the company had signed transactions with three Australian companies for 55 million acres in the McArthur Basin in Australia's Northern Territory.
