A federal appeals court in New Orleans has vacated FERCorders requiring major intrastate pipelines to post operationalinformation on their websites, saying the agency had ex-ceeded the scope of its authority.Contrary to the belief of the Federal Energy RegulatoryCommission (FERC), the Energy Policy Act of 2005 (EPAct)does not authorize the agency to regulate intrastate pipelines,the court said.
