Mechanical properties of sheets from aluminum alloy V1341 (of type AV) are studied depending on the time interval between their hardening and deformation. Mechanical and corrosion properties of hardened (T) and annealed (M) alloy after long-term additional cold working with deformation degree of 10 - 40 percent imitating the state of the material in various zones of cold-pressed parts are determined. The effect of subsequent hardening or 30-min heating at 190 deg C, which corresponds to drying of lacquer coatings, is studied. The properties of sheet alloy VI341 are compared with the properties of alloys of the magnalium group and steel.
