Blacklisted Gazprom Neft Taps Domestic Banks - Again

Russia's Gazprom Neft keeps attracting new funds from domestic banks, which the company says are needed to finance corporate activities rather than for acquisitions. The latest is a credit line with state-controlled VTB bank for 15 billion rubles ($232.7 million) for 67 months ending on Jun. 22, 2022. Over the last month only, Gazprom Neft has agreed on another 15.15 billion rubles from VTB, 30 billion rubles from state-controlled Sberbank, and 15 billion rubles from Gazprombank. The latest loan is part of a larger agreement with VTB on several credit lines totaling 44.45 billion rubles (NC Nov.17'16).
