New control concepts are needed if control devices for mobile hydraulics are to display a high level of functionality. This requires in turn that all components form an autonomous unit. If a space-saving design is also specified, then there is no option but to use proportional valves with electrohydraulic precontrol. Joining the various components together by means of the CAN-bus always makes sense because it enables a high flexibility ofdesign while reducing the wiring effort.
