The French Minister for the Environment Segolene Royal recently presented a policy proposal for renewable energy (loi sur la transition ener-getique) for the post-2020 period. Among others, the bill includes a consumption target for biofuels in transport of 15% cal. for 2030, up from 10% for 2020 fixed for each EU member state in Brussels' Renewable Energy Directive.
