DOUBLE-COUNTING BIOFUEL CAPTURES TWO THIRDS OF THE MARKET

Preliminary data by the Department of Transport (DfT) point to a three-year high in the nationwide biofuels share under the 2014/15 (Apr 15/14) Renewable Transport Fuel Obligation (RTFO). DfT said 1.356 bln litres were consumed, which translates into an average biofuels market share of 3.54 % vol. which would be up on 3.46% and 3.00% each in the preceding two years.
