Fuel ethanol production capacity from grains in Argentina continues to grow. Local press reports said that Diaser has opened its grains-based fuel ethanol plant in Villa Mercedes, San Luis. The $40 mln project can deliver fuel ethanol under the national quota system. It has an annual production capacity of 75 mln litres. The company also operates a 96,000 tonnes per year FAME plant in the province.
