Mid-seam battery haulers introduced to local industry

After extensive trials, Denmark Colliery has taken delivery of equipment from Oldenburg Stamler. Included in this equipment are two mid-seam BH20L battery haulers and a custom-designed feeder. This marks the introduction of the haulers to South Africa."The units are designed for mid-seam applications between 1,6 and 2,2m mining height," says managing director, Peter Fitch, "and have a capacity of between 12t and 16t depending on seam height."
