Mining veteran heads up new IPO

Veteran Perth explorer and mining company founder an Finch is returning to South Australia's Gawler Craton as the managing director of new float Trafford Resources Ltd. Trafford's IPO for 3 million dollars has closed early and over subscribed by 1 million dollars and the company has agreed to allotment of 20 million 20 cent shares. In the 1980s Finch was responsible for major exploration programs conducted by CRA and later for Bind Gold over 12,600 sq km of the Gawler Craton. He targeted large, multi-commodity projects similar in scale to the world-class Roxby Downs and found many significant indications of large iron oxide/copper/gold deposits - often associated with uranium.
