Glowing praise for gold play

Perilya Ltd's exploration manager Paul Cranney didn't mince his words when he waxed lyrical about what is expected to be the company's next mining project. "I've seen more visible gold in the past four months than what I've seen in my previous 24 years working as an exploration geologist in gold," Cranney told the RIU Explorers Conference in Fremantle recently. "And we've been getting assay results to match the observations." Cranney was talking about Perilya's Daisy-Milano deposit, a gold play sitting adjacent to the Kundana Shield in the central part of Western Australia's eastern goldfields some 50 kilometres south east of the regional centre of Kalgoorlie-Boulder.
