One company leveraged to the copper price is Matrix Metals Ltd and it is quickly moving to production start-up at its White Range project in Queensland with construction due to Start in the second half of this year. However, the story for Matrix does not end at White Range for it is also working to grow the resource at the Mt Watson deposit, with drilling also planned at the mainstay Greenmount deposit and Mt Earl. Primary sulphide potential has also been uncovered. The bankable feasibility study currently in progress at White Range is targeting production of 15,000 tonnes per annum due to start in early to mid-2005. Resources total 12 million tonnes grading 1.1 percent copper for 132 tonnes of contained metal.
