U.S. needs new 21st century energy plan, former Shell Oil Co. President Hofmeister tells IVIOGA at Oct. 20 Annual Membership Meeting

GAYLORD, Mich. —The former President of energy giant Shell Oil Co., John Hofmeister, renewed his call for a new 21st century energy plan at the Michigan Oil And Gas Association's (MOGA) 77th Annual Membership meeting at the Otsego Club in Gaylord on Thursday, Oct. 20,2011. Hofmeister retired in 2008 after three years at the helm at Shell. Before that, his executive experience also included stops at GE, Honeywell and Nortel. Hofmeister didn't choose to just retire quietly. Instead, he's become an advocate calling for a new energy system for the United States.
