The pouring ladle is provided with a device for sustaining and minting one (or more) tubes, with thin or thick walls, in which the magnesium based modifier is located.The rube is plugged on both ends with moulding mixtures and is provided at the inferior end with orifices though which penetrates and the magnesium vapours get out.The tube may or may not dissolve into the metallic bath. If the tube does not dissolve into the metallic bath, ten as magnesium from master alloy is vaporized, the magnesium vapours are evacuated through the orifices of the inferior port of the tube, only.If the pipe is dissloved in metal bath, the magnesium vapours are evacuated through the orifices of the inferior part (at the beginning of the casting ) and directly as the tube is dissolved.So, an uniform modification with a high degree of spheroidization, is obtained.
