摘要

A new hybrid type alloy steel powder has been developed with the aim of obtaining high strength and hardness without heat-treatment after sintering. The powder is binder-bonded type, where 2 mass percent Ni - 1 mass percent Mo prealloyed steel powder is bonded with nickel, copper, and graphite powder. The sintered compact made from the new powder obtained tensile strength of 950 MPa and hardness of 35HRC with a conventional mesh belt sintering furnace at a sintering temperature of 1130 deg C and a cooling rate of 30 deg C/min.
