The authors would like to apologise for the mistakes in the concentration unit of baicalin in paragraphs one and nine of the Materials and Methods section; paragraphs one and five of the Results section; Figure 1C; Figure 1 legend; Figure 2; Figure 2 legend; Figure 3; Figure 3 legend; Figure 4; Figure 5; Figure 5 legend; Figure 6 and Table 1. They are incorrectly written as "ng/ml" and should all be g/ml.
