Ferro-alloy price forecasts downwardly revised for 2015

Ferro-alloy markets have generally had a disappointing start to the year, in line with our expectations. Ferro-alloy prices mostly trended stable to lower as weaker demand from steelmakers offset any seasonal reductions in ferro-alloy supplies. A notable exception has again been the silicon metal market, where production cuts are lending support to prices in China.
