Ferro-tungsten prices hit bottom and show modest recovery

In line with our forecasts in last month's issue of Ferro-alloys Market Tracker, European ferro-tungsten prices found a floor in February before showing steady improvement during March. European ferro-tungsten prices climbed to $33.50-34.50/kg in mid-March, up from $32.70-33.2o/kg last month. Prices are gaining as sellers resist pressure to reduce prices further and on a slight improvement in demand from steelmakers.
