摘要

An electrochemical finishing process is presented that uses a cylinder-form electrode as the finishing tool, coupled with the application of transmitted ultrasonic energy into the electrolyte to assist in electrochemical finishing following the turning process. The contemporarily used small end radius cylinder body with small wedge angle was replaced with a plate-shape head and placed at an inclined position, permitting electrolytic products and heat to be removed more rapidly, thus producing higher quality finishing. Ultrasonic-assistance aids in the discharging of dregs from the electrode gap during the electrochemical finishing process, enhancing the finish quality of the final products.
