Construction of a Double-cooled Short Path Distillation Head

摘要

This paper, originally created as a Poster for the ASGS 2013 Symposium in Florida, started when I had a problem supporting a coil with finned-spools on the lathe. Then I had another problem and solved that. Other problems were solved by past solutions that worked in this project. Then, as other problems and solutions came up, I realized that this project might be good material for a poster, both on how this apparatus was constructed as well as on the many problems and solutions that occurred during the construction of this apparatus. I was asked to convert it into a paper and as such, it is presented here.
