Technology drive continues for tender fruit producers

Len Troup, 53, who operates Lakelee Orchards in Niagara with his brother Doug and their two adult sons, is the new chairman of the Ontario Tender Fruit Producers' Marketing Board replacing Peter Buis, 67, who announced at last month's annual meeting that he would not seek re-election. Troup was elected by grower committee members at their annual meeting following three regional annual board meetings earlier in the month.
