Organic production - in Australia, Mexico and Italy

By now almost 31 million ha of useful agricultural area are being cultivated organically worldwide. With New Zealand and the smaller countries like Fiji and New Guinea, Australia has the greatest share in this at 11.8 million ha. Fruits, vegetables and cereals are produced all year round, and so are wine, milk products and meat. The main fruits grown in New Zealand are kiwi fruits, apples, bilberries and vegetables.
