The signing of an MOU between the State of Queensland, noted for its innovative research on post-harvest technology and the CP Group, will be a great boost for Thailand's horticultural exports. The CP Group, Thailand's leading multi-national agribusiness conglomerate, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Australia's State of Queensland opening a new era of cooperation particularly in post-harvest technology. The agreement will assist the Group expand its expertise and horticulture exports toworld markets. In particular it covers: Equipment and technologies related to post harvest production; Research and development related to supply chain management; Education and training in consumer marketing techniques; Education and training in areasof horticulture production, food safety and quality management etc. A joint study of the possible development of a wholesale fruit market in Thailand.
